How do I root a Money tree? I have a branch that broke off and I want to make another tree to eventually take to work. I've tried researching on the web but can't seem to find very much information on care. Any help is greatly appretiated.

well i really don't know about a moneytree but with my rubber tree i just stuck it in water, it takes a really, really long time, some rooting powder might help, if you can even do it with a money tree.

You probably have Pachira Aquatica. If so, then a stem cutting will root best in a damp mix of peat moss and perlite. Put the pot and plant inside a clear plastic tent to keep the moisture in the soil and air elevated.

Note: Jade plants are sometimes called money plants. Let me know if that is what you have.

Yes I have a Pachira Aquatica. As far as the mix of peat moss and perlite, I guessing I can get this at any gardening place such as home depot. I'm kind of new to all of this and never really looked at the types of soils that I bought. Just grabbed a bag. Thanks for the help.
