Are you trying to get me KILLED Jiff??? I have a constant battle already with him choking the daylights out of me. He doesn't realize his strength and he can take me down in a New York minute! And that may be all he is trying to do is "touch"...but I have battle wounds from his touches! He bruises himself a lot....the school tells me that is part od it...but it is a very sad part.

Hopefully they will address that on the 7th at his appt at Children's ...and be able to do something about it. He is up more than he sleeps... and it is getting worse instead of better. But, he enjoys going to school so I don't know why it is getting worse. Just part of it I guess...it's killing this old woman!

I guess I owe you all an apology, I feel like I highjacked this thread on Peanut's behalf...but I wanted it to be your highlight as well...Peanut is kind of the Garden Helper Poster Child or something....and you all have been through literally everything with him...so I do apologize if I get overly crazy and outta line!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My highlight - being able to come home here, and catch up with all of you! That is a highlight for us also Lynne! We sure miss our friends when they have to be away....it's like having part of your family gone for a bit! The week & 1/2 of no computer just about did me in because I missed everyone here so much...and I was even talking to everyone on the phone.....just wasn't the same as hangin out together! Glad you are hooked back up!

Gee, 'Nessa - keep talking to me like that and I'll never leave the house/computer! Not a good idea - I've been slowy gaining back all the weight I lost - I'm so frustrated about that! But... I'm so very excited for you and the "gift" that Peanut gave you yesterday! I can only imagine your joy in hearing him say those sweet words! I know exactly what you mean about his holding on to your neck a bit too tightly too. When I taught 3-5 year old autistic boys for 2 summers, we once went on a field trip to the Bronx Zoo. (Don't know whose hairbrained idea that was - the kids were miserable the entire time!) Anyway, one boy in particular had a death grip on my neck on the bus, and eventually bit me on the shoulder - luckily he didn't break the skin - it was very difficult to remove him from me. I wasn't upset about the bite, but more so, about how agitated the kids were about the trip... Not to say that Peanut is like those boys - they were severly autistic - there are so many different degrees that are diagnosed nowadays, and so much more progress is made with them, it's wonderful! And you have him in such a wonderful school now - can't wait to hear about his next accomplishment! Speaking of peanuts - I'm posting a recipe that I saw on the new Marth Stewart show this morning for peanut brittle - it looked so yummy!

Anyway, one boy in particular had a death grip on my neck That is EXACTLY what he does! He is only 2 but has the strength of a grown man! He can take me down in a minute...and that is NO exageration. He doesn't "mean" to harm me...he just doesn't understand. Thankfully, he is not a biter...but he can sure kick the dawg out of you!

THAT PICTURE HAS TO BE PUBLISHED SOMEWHERE!!! Lynne is right...it is magazine cover quality! ABSOLUTELY GORGIOUS! That is the most graceful bloom I thinkI have ever seen! Do they come in other colors? I have just never seen anything so beautiful! I think that picture all by itself would change your gardening status/tittle.. Super Duper Picture Perfect Gardener!

Hi all,
My highlight today was getting back from the wal-mart without having to take a taxi. I messed up of course and had a two hour wait for the bus. But I made it. And I finally got the divergence to stop at my building rather than down the block which was a good thing to. I was so tired and ache when I finally got home I took a sitz bath and went straight to bed. Hopefully I have enough energy for the trunk or treat tomorrow in the church parking lot. I can't wait to see all the children all dressed up. They are so cute.

Woohoo I got 20 crocus and 20 daffodil bulbs for 10.00 total. I'm thinking that is pretty good. And I got them in the ground and mulched all in the same day. I hope they grow well.
