I was looking for a source for my mosaic bowlingball and came across this site. Loved alot of the ideas, especially the magazine rack made into a bench and the marbled bowlingballs.Check it out! wink click here for the website.

Was the bowling ball cracked on purpose? Or just used in spite of being cracked?

I have a facination with colored glass and different lighting effects.

For my daughter`s wedding I have taken 5 bottles of different shades of green, put christmas lights in them, turned them upside down in a clay pot, put clear marbles around thebottles to help stabilize them and put lights under the marbles too.

I took a jar with a glass lid, put christmas lights in the jar with bits of old colored cellophane. I think broken glass or the sea grass would be even neater to use.

Hey I stare at my plants!! All my plants though, I don`t play favorites. AND I talk to them too, telling them how sweet they are or if they are looking down ask them what is wrong.

"Garden Shed" magazine!!!

There's an article on how to do a bowling ball..

I just happened to be in the magazine isle today in the grocery store, and flippin' thru the garden mag's... and came acrossed it!
Thought I'd let you know!!!

The same techinque to do clay pots, glass bowls, vaces, candles/?????

Thanks a bunch Weezie, will be at the store tomorrow. LOl sounds like you do the same things that I do, like stealing ideas and inspiration and then putting the magazine back, only investing if you really need the whole book, and God knows I already subscribe to enough garden magazines as it is, but don't we just love making good use of that time spent waiting in line laugh laugh shocked

I bought the book!!! shocked

But it had a bunch of ideas!!

I am usually a magazine subscriber,
(way better price for the sub than the off the
shelf price shk frown )
but, I used to have, ohmygosh, can't remember,
I listed all of my mag's that I got here somewhere's for good gardening catalogs somewhere's, they WERE all mine, but, when you don't work and it's pizza, plants or magazines,
I opted to "surf the net" and get the plants and pizza!!!

But, I haven't had a new book in soooooooooo long,
I thought I'd treat my self!!!!

Weezie

If you don't find it let me know!!!
