I want to grow a miniature orange tree. I took some seeds out of a miniature orange and I need to know the best way to get the seeds to germinate. Does anyone have any advice?

The pips of citrus fruits germinate quite readily. Soak the seeds overnight and then press each one down to a depth of 1/2 inch into compost in a 3 1/2 inch pot. Keep in a warm and dark place until shoots appear, then move to a sunny spot. Your plants will need to spend the summer months outdoors and the winter in a fairly cool room (50 - 60 F).

Good luck
