OP Wheatdog Junior Member W Joined: Dec 2002 Louisville, KY	I want to grow a miniature orange tree. I took some seeds out of a miniature orange and I need to know the best way to get the seeds to germinate. Does anyone have any advice?

Flower Forum Hostess Joined: Jan 2003 Winnipeg	The pips of citrus fruits germinate quite readily. Soak the seeds overnight and then press each one down to a depth of 1/2 inch into compost in a 3 1/2 inch pot. Keep in a warm and dark place until shoots appear, then move to a sunny spot. Your plants will need to spend the summer months outdoors and the winter in a fairly cool room (50 - 60 F). Good luck Barb barbsblooms@shaw.ca
