Hello, I planted lilies-of-the-valley 2 years ago, but there still are no flowers. What have I done wrong?

Hi,
They are in total sunshine and I am now thinking (because of your question) that I planted them too deep!
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure lily of the Valley is a shade plant. When we first moved to our house, the previous owners had a small area of them in full hot direct sun, and they didn't flower. I moved them under a very full dark leaf maple tree, and they are spreading like wildfire and bloom every year.

You do know that they bloom in the spring, right?
I would suggest moving them to a shadier spot.

Enjoy, and welcome to the forums!

Thanks, Lynne. I will move them to shade.
