plants 'n pots Member Joined: Nov 2003 Rockland County, NY	I'm pretty sure lily of the Valley is a shade plant. When we first moved to our house, the previous owners had a small area of them in full hot direct sun, and they didn't flower. I moved them under a very full dark leaf maple tree, and they are spreading like wildfire and bloom every year. You do know that they bloom in the spring, right? I would suggest moving them to a shadier spot. Enjoy, and welcome to the forums!
