Definitely NOT Blossom Rot - BIG Problem! Almost all rotting on the bottom, misshaped tomatos, some bulbus with deep seams in the fruit running from the stems.

Only 4 plants, Better Boy, over 5' high now, trimmed down today. Also, cut bottom branches that had leaves dead or dying.

LOTS of fruit, but bottom rot spoiling most of the green tomatos before ripening even has a chance to start.

Plenty lime down now and plants/leaves look very healthy, strong healthy stems, lots of blossoms look healthy too.

I think the problem is watering (too much) or stop watering the plants like rain - instead, just add more mulch and ground soak every night ????

So far, had just one ! holy cow ! just one ripened red juicy tomato (was almost touching the ground at bottom of the plant) but it tasted funny and wasn't sweet, but it was red and juicy inside ?? It looked like it was gonna taste great.

Season is 1/2 gone already!
