OP rcroll57 Junior Member R Joined: Jan 2003 orange park, fl	I recently purchased a home with 4 beautiful palm trees. One of the trees has a diagnal gash in it about 8 inches long and a couple inches deep. I've seen other palm trees with similar problems; is this caused by birds, insects or what? and what can I do about it? Thanks R Roll
