Hi everyone. My name is Becky and I'm a very inexperienced gardener but very passionate about learning. I bought a new house last fall and fell in love with the way the previous owner decorated with flowers, fruit trees and herb gardens. However, I know nothing about how to take care of them and everything seems to be deteriorating. My biggest concern are the apple trees and the roses. I've also started my own small veggie garden this year. I've tried getting answers at online websites but have never gotten hooked up with real people to talk about all of my questions.
I sure hope someone can help! smile
Thanks for letting me join!

Becky, you've found real people here!!!
(Sometimes I get a little "too" real! laugh )
Welcome to the forum. Just post your questions and believe me, you will get some answers!

There are so many different subjects for the forums that it's easy to know where to post your question, and this place has the best format I've ever seen. I've only been here since March, and I have asked so many questions and learned so much!

So nice to meet you!

Cindy

Help! I have a large curly stalk of 'lucky bamboo'. It was doing great all summer and then we recently moved. It shares its vase with my betta Royal in the kitchen where they recieve partial sunlight all day. Well, recently the very top leaves have begun to yellow and brown, therefore I cut them off. Now the stalk is starting to yellow in the middle of the curl and I'm afraid it's dying. It has a large grouping of roots and is starting to bud at the bottom end. Can I rescue my plant without harming Royal?
