My Daffodils are doing quite well still! They seem to be thriving quite well (as they do every year). Here is their picture.
DAFFODILS
It looks like its gonna be a good daffodil crop!
Wow yours are up even father than mine. Is it alright for them to be up this early? I'm just afraid we'll have a late snow or frost and they'll all die.
My Daffodils are coming up too...So is it spring here now?? I mean I have lived here for 6 years you would think I would have that figured out by now...I am itching to transplant my Gardenia, and change my front flower beds...
I think Virginia is about a month behind Northern Alabama/Southern Tennesse....I remember when I had a second house in Virginia. When the Dogwoods and Red buds were blooming in Alabama they did not bloom til about 30 days later in Virginia..
Oh Willows are my FAVORITE TREE!!! im hoping to get one this spring!!! Can't wait
It was 70 degrees here yesterday. And appears that it will be 70 again today..But it is cold at night..Should I wait til my dogwood starts blooming before I start transplanting???
I saw a ground hog too....I think it is spring here already...
HEELLPPP
Wow!
Nice picture, sure looks like spring is making her entry! I love daffodils
Spring IS here. Most of these plants are quite hardy. I think it would be safe to transplant, Oui.
My miniature roses have started putting out new shoots. I'm quite sure that inspite of the spring like temperatures now that there is snow in Febuary or March coming so I am going to wait to set anything out until the regular time for this area. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't afford to lose all my plants and seedlings. Having said that I am going to set out my garlic cloves that have sprouted. They will handle both a hard freeze and snow so I don't worry about those.
I am jealous. We get stinking snow in April here sometimes.
*sigh* oh....how I love Nashville.
Thats a weeping willow? I thought that was a forsythia??
