Work has finally tapered, thank-goodness. It was pond season for all of June and most of July, including one for us, our neighbor and my mother in law. One for a customer was a 120' long running creekbed with a reservoir / no pond. I moved a lot of rocks, that's for sure. Here's part of my mother in law's if it displays right...

I'm using the tiny picture of it to save demand on my server.

I'm glad my mother in law likes it, because as someone said, it was a lot of work.

It came with a surprise. Not the irrigation, which I suspected, but convergence of all 3 drain lines from the house and shop.

This was put in the lawn area, and until I dug, I had no idea that the drain lines all came together right under the back of the pond location that we marked-out.

I had to use flex ADS drain pipe to route the drain around the perimeter of the pond. It was a bit of a nail-biter.

Daylily, something in the yucca family that has little stalks with red flowers, threadleaf cypress, mahonia nervosa, laceleaf maple, sedum, rock rose, daphne.

Wow! M.D.,

that looks very nice....definitely alot of hard work....we put a pond in about 10 years ago and have redone it three times for various reasons. They are alot of work but well worth the efforts.

Looks lovely. I'm a bit fond of that stlye of pond with the flat stones around the edge. I used the flat stone around the lower half of our's at home.

With flat stone like yours, it can be easier to kneel at the side and tinker in the pond.

Your lilies look well established.
