I bought a beautiful fern today, called a Kangaroo Paw. It's about 12" and I'm keeping indoors. Any tips?

I don't know what a rabbit's foot fern looks like.
This one's a beauty - I love the black spine running down the leathery leaf.
Really a stunner - and I'm not a fern lover.
Wellllll.... I do like maidenhair ferns, but they always used to brown up on me so I shy away from them. They're gorgeous though.

that is cool. thanks joclyn. i tried googling it but didn't get the pics you got. not the last one anyway.

it seems to be similar in growth habit to the rabbit's foot, but that's all. and the feet are definitely longer. the rabbit's feet are furrier. i'll have to be on the lookout for one of those!

i find that, when i use google at work, i come up with different (and more useful) results than when i use it at home. i guess it has something to do with the internet provider - verizon at work and comcast at home. (just gives me another reason to complain about comcast and their 'service' - and the lack thereof!)

i've never seen either one of these ferns...either one would be a nice addition to the collection!!
