This started out as a small pond and became my bog garden.

Here is the story.....

My job takes me on the road for weeks. When It got hot and I was not home to water all my tropical plants I put them in the pond. Hence all the plants loved it so much they consumed the 8' x 9' pond that I have to clean out, LOL!!!! It will be a pond again with a waterfall soon.

The red plant is a Ti plant, there are 3 EEs, ornamental Banana plant. The blue flower was in the pond it is Black Gamecock Iris, I even have waterlilies in there but you cannot see them.

Here is the Black Gamecock. It is a beautiful water iris. Very hardy.

That is awesome! Weezie, I love the kiddie pool/peat moss idea. I've often wondered how to keep the ground wet. In our sand and heat it would be a tiny desert in a day or two!
I might have to try that when I get my new pond at my new house (fingers crossed!)
grinnnn
