I was looking on ebay and found a MG that I want to get. ( Japanese Picotee 'Double Blue'(PJharbitis nil) Murasaki Jishi,) But the price they want for it is to me a bit much. All said and done I think it was about 5 dollars a packet. I buy my MG's for about a $1.00 a packet. I just wanted to see if any one first knew anything about these beauties ? And if you didn't know of a cheaper place to buy them at?

The only seeds I could find online are from Swallowtail Garden Seeds . They are $3.00 for 25 seeds and not sure what the shipping is. Wow, they really are beautiful. I might have to give these a try!

Joanne

I edited this to mention that I've had great service from Swallowtail and would highly recommend them.

I just might have to break down and buy the ones on ebay. I am kind of a cheapskate. LOL I can't stand paying more for an item I found cheaper somewhere else. But I have to remind myself that this is I guess a harder to find plant.

That is very pretty...But you get what you pay for...be careful buying on ebay...you may end up with something different and not know until you get them started and growing next spring.

That IS a pretty bloom.I haven't grown no doubles, but that would be some show stopper.

Onalee is someone who sells some of the JMG on EBay.Maybe see if she has these or knows the other seller& they have rateings listed also. I always get out bidded on e bay.I've only bought a lamp thats it.

If ya ever grow it.....I'd like to know if it stays open longer. The mauraki cultivers stay open longer& on cloudy days will almost make it till 5.I'm not a member of daves garden but my sister is.They have alot of folks who grow those JMG over there she says.

CajunMama, I know when I saw this one on Ebay, I just had to have it. Kennyso, if you can find it. I would love to see what it would cost me to get this one. I have seen others under this same name. But they don't have the double flower like in the picture I have. Amigatec, I love MG's. But I am looking for something different. Thanks for the offer though. That's why when I saw this JMG I knew I had found something different. LOL I would also like to get some Moon Flowers. My MG's don't smell really at all. So I would like to have the moon flower, they are said to be quite fragrant.
