I thought these were a biennial? I had one that bloomed just so beautifully the first year, and then it never came back. A biennial will at least get green the next year, won't it? Anyway, I want to plant another this summer, but if they are that touchy, I am not even going to bother. Was I supposed to dig ti up and bring it in for the winter?

Jody,
Did you buy it already started or
did you start it from seed yourself?????

My guess would be, if you bought it potted up..
it was already in the second year's growth..
*first year is only green, second year it sends up
the flower stalk to bloom....*

So, get some seeds and start your own.. and buy a potted up one too... and then this year you'll have another one to flower this year... and some from seed that will flower next year...
