There is one you forgot.........

Take a tire, put it around and old tree stump and fill it with dirt, Then plant flowers\veggiesin it and the dirt\plants will help compost away the old stump. This works as I`ve done it with 3 stumps.

Ones Too big to do that with put in some Mushrooms plugs (look like wooden dowl pins) anyway Mushrooms eat away at the stump and they are good to eat.
