Hello! flw

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions in regards to any plants/ flowers/ and/or vegetables that would survive a Canadian Winter...

Thank you, all!

Shanbear you have to be careful, you are close to my zone 4a, I have trouble with some things overwintering. Rhubarb, berries are good choices.

Are you looking for plants for sun or shade?

I have a South Facing back yard so there is a lot of sun hitting it right on. My front yard is much more shady. Which type of plants do you grow in your Zone 4a? idea

I get a catalog called Bluestone Perennials that has N's for good in the north. It amazes me that things that are hardy in my zone still will not be recommended for the north (like english daisies which I cannot grow :p ). Here are things they recommend for north zone 3
Achillea
alchemilla
columbine
aster
bergenia
some campanulas (glomarata, poscharskyana, peachleaf)
centuaria
coreopsis
bleeding heart
maiden pinks
echinops
daylily
hosta
iris
liatris
lychnis
water forget me not
poppy
creeping phlox
polemonium
rudbeckia
tiarella
some veronica
