Anyone out there have any knowledge of Houseplants not being able to survive indoors, from the house being insulated too tightly.

I know attics will get moisture inside the boards from the too much insulations...And they rot........

Lets hear it from everyone........Any one have ideas???????

just my theory.......Cause my house is with air holes......(Not by choice) ha ha

I have never heard of this....I think that as long as you have some sort of heating/cooling system- they should be fine....

I would think that underinsulating would kill plants quicker......I know I had a hard time in my old house because it had no (that is a big fat zero )insulation and it got extreme temps in both winter and summer....now that I have moved....no problems other than owner error! laugh laugh

Just kidding......
I too late for me to move.....We're on a farm..HD is so fond of it......
However, I like it in my old house..More room than my city sisters..

I've heard that you can over-insulate, so there is poor air flow. I think the "holes" in a house, makes for better air flow. I think you've got a winner Dodge gab

gardeningmamma......

We got Winter, but dont know about winner.. No it isnt too bad..
West side is some air but the attic is insulated.

It makes your attic sweat, therefore the wood rots a lot faster.....

Thanks gardeningmooma........keep gardening.
