Personally, I put the small (D) tank in a backpack, and to keep the hose neatly out of the way, I use the little alligator clip thingies that go on ID badges, etc. You can find them at Office Depot, Staples, etc.

My moms' gotten just about everystyle they have..

She get's pretty frustrated with those hose's...
but just loves to be outside and gardening still and sittin' in the sunshine....
