I was given some cuttings from a friends pencil cactus and am wondering about rooting them. I am treating them like my jade plant, just stick the cuttings in soil and water them sparingly. My jade plant did very well this way and is doing great. Is there anything different I should do? Are there any better ways of propogating this plant?

Thank you all.

That's aboutr all I do to mine David. If it is a cutting I let it crust over then dip in rooting hoirmone and stick in the dirt and forget about . Treat just like the Jade should do ok.

I agree with Jimmy let it callous over and dip in a root tone
