I have a beautiful honeysuckle that has now started putting out these bright red berries where the flowers were. Are these seed pockets or what?

You are so lucky to have a fruit-bearing Honeysuckle. I wish mine would do that because the birds would love it. We have a good source of information right here at Garden Helper. Check it out!

Thanks for the link, Rosie. because I've never seen any on mine? I have been pretty successful in keeping my Honeysuckle contained, so it's invasiveness has never been a problem for me.

Patti, my Honeysuckle has never set fruit either. Maybe we need boy and girl vines?

Do you guys have the Japanese Vine Honeysuckles??? Do you have any Seeds off of them? I've been looking all over the place for Japanese Honeysuckle seeds & can't find any. If you can help me, I have seeds to trade for it.

Everyone has honeysuckle, but me, I don't even have any of the wild variety, and it does grow down here, theres just none anywhere close.

It looks similar to my Evergreen Honeysuckle.


Lots of berries and seeds. The Winter Wrens love them!
