When did you plant them Sammy? I started mine in March and I noticed a couple months after the same thing you described. I thought maybe it was powdery mildew but then it just went away?? Duh

I agree with Christina. Definitely sounds like powdery mildew.

you will find its not (powdery mildew)
take a watering can, water over the top of the plants, and HEY PRESTO you will see the answer!
white fly is the cause.

I agree with Mark...like I said, "it just went away". And I do believe it was after a good rain and I didn't see it anymore. So it wasn't powdery mildew.

(psst...hi Mark. wink )

thanks all who responded...Mark I think you.. Had it right. Been noticing alot of flying insects in my yard so...Just like when i was a kid catching fire flies I caught one and it looked like a tiny moth. So my question now would be ok to eat the brussel sprouts?
