It is at all possible to keep a strawberry plant (of any type) in a coffee can? One of the larger ones? Or any other type of small root veggies?

Thanks! thumbup

Of course ! And those little round carrots, the mini-peas, and radishes (I'm a great one to be talking about radishes....)
Just make sure to make drainage holes with a can opener.
I'm not sure about this, but I read somewhere that if the can rusts, the rust will put iron into the soil.

So, does that mean that the rust is good? If so, i'll have some happy veggies! laugh laugh laugh

The rust is good IF it really does put iron into the soil.
I had a gardenia once that seemed to do better after I poked pieces of a rusty old table into the soil around it.
