Hello all. I've read from many to snip tomato flowers after transplanting to let the plant concentrate on getting it's root system going. My question is how long do you snip the flowers before you let them try to start producing fruit?
Thanks!
Shawn
I never do it myself, but if you want to just the once.
mine have got flowers on now, and ive not planted them yet.
I did not do mine either and have about 4 to 5 tomatoes already, but I am very new at this so keep checking back the pros like Weezie13, Longy, Obwan, and others will tell you what's best for them. Sorry I could not have help you much but the others surly will.

I never snip mine either...But like Mark said if you are going to just do it once that will allow them to establish them selves better and put off more roots.
If you haven't planted them in the ground yet, it's best to remove flowers.
