Here's a close up of one of my tulip's heads.. it looks like it's got seeds in it? What is going on here..

your Tulip went to seed you should always deadhead them,the bulbs need their strength to bloom the next year.I think it would take a couple season for the seed to form bulbs and bloom. ,I plantet something in my coldframe about 4 Years ago I have now little bulbs,the only problem is I forgot what it will be.

GAH!! I didn't know they'd go to seed, and I needed to deadhead them! Good greif!!

I think the jury is still out on the effect of dead heading them. There was a thread about this going around a few weeks ago. Some people dead head them, others don't. I don't and mine do just fine every single year. So, think of it as an experiment...and if they don't bloom next year, then they will the next year and you'll have learned something.

how would one do to have them seed grow into bulbs,if one have no cold frame(good english guys dont you think,sorry. :p :rolleyes:
