I was digging in the weed patch today and came across what look like green onions except the leaves are more waxy than what I see at the grocery store. Would these be wild onions? The root end also is more round in shape when they are very little and then seem to thin down as they get older. (wish I could do that).

I don't have a camera or I would have taken a picture.

TK,
Did they smell like an onion order?

Usually if you find a wild onion or garlic,
there's an un~mistakable oder of an onion....

Alot of people find they have the wild
onion/garlic just by walking on it,
and then smell the oder...
Most people don't reconize it as a plant to see it, it's as they're just walking around, and after they've stepped on it and released the oder...

That's how I found it twice, once up on the "hill" I used to live on, and was just walking in the woods..walked thru it and smelled it and went back to it...

Then we found some here where we live now,
on the side of the garage...walkin' thru and said, I reconize that smell..
