Okay, I guess I'm losing my last few marbles.

I didn't plant my foxglove seeds. Foxy mix that are suposed to bloom the 'first year from seed'. Anyhow, did I miss the train? Should I tuck these away for the spring? Plant em now? Any pointers on how to plant? Do I freeze em before planting? Skip and scatter? Do a rain dance around the packet before opening? wink Told ya Im almost outta marbles!

Hahahahaaha, luv ya Mary!!!!
Why don't you do a little bit of everything..
**Not being funny**

Usually the seeds fall to the ground after the flowers are done and dried.. *August(ish)*
and mine seem to start then at some time..
*not that I ever see them start, but theyr'e beautiful by spingtime...

But shake some now, plant some in the fall..
***Do two or three area's, one might take,
where the other two won't or vice~versa***
and do some in pots, and leave them for winter,
maybe protect them by a base of a plant, or shredded leaves, for a little winter protection
against the winters' wind..
***I did that with some columbine seeds,
got a bunch of columbines now, and they're
all in 2" pots, just like I would have
gotten them in the nursery...***

And save some for the freezer and plant
the regular way it says on the package...

Then, figure out, which way was easiest for you,
and which got the best results with the easiest work????

Seed will surprise you!!!!

But you have to give us an update if you do!!!!
We love to hear about all the experiments,
whether they turn out good or bad, that's how
we all learn....

Okay, Weezie, but can I dance around the packet inside the house? These neighbors already think I'm 'something else'! LOL!

Oh, have I mentioned I'm SO SORRY I put down that weedblock paper? Ugh, what a waste of time and money. The grass grows through it. Heck, everything is growing through it - including maple trees mad Think I'll cut it all up and pull it out (stomp my fists on the ground, kick my feet) and put down my compost as I get it finished. I'm on pile #2 and doing pretty good, I think!

Okay, back on topic LOL! I'll give it a try...been keeping a journal, so hopefully I'll know next year what worked and what didn't! My delphiniums aren't sprouting though, after like 3 weeks now frown Double fooey!

I NEED A GREENHOUSE! LOL!
Mary wink
