how do I get rid of mushrooms in my house plants?

you may need to remove most of the soil from the plants and replace it with some new sterile soil.
i'm not too sure what else you can do i had some in one of my house plants and i replaced some of the soil and the "mushrooms" never returned. i hope this helps more than my last sarcastic reply i gave you laugh shocked grinnnn

Yep you need to remove the potting soil that has the mushroom spores in it or they will regrow. mushrooms like organic matter and thats potting soil. But don't worry you don't have to lose the potting soil you can bake it and kill the spores and then use it for something else.
