I have a one year old lemon balm plant that is getting quite large and is beautifully leafed. My dilemma is just that though, is never bloomed. The leaves are getting large and beautiful (and smell wonderful,too) but when I researched the plant, I was told they would have small blueish (mint like) blooms and I have never seen any. Is a time of rest possibly what it needs?

Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

yet either, that I've noticed,
but haven't been back to my back 40 lately...
I'll have to go take a peak out there...

mine are out in the sunniest place possible... Mine are in a planter and I thought that maybe since I brought the whole plant in last winter that it might be because I hadn't yet let it have a dormant period. Maybe that's what it needs, but how do I get it to go dormant?
