I've been hardening off all my vegetables and flowers all week. All seemed to be handling it quite well. This evening when I was bringing everything back in ( :rolleyes: ugh..I hate that job) I noticed some leaves on my tomatoes looked a little "sunburnt". Are they going to be okay? What can I do to bring them back? Is this common? I can't lose my tomatoes.

If you've got a few, snip them off and dont' think a thing about them..
IMHO, as long as the root ball is basically healthy, they can loose a leave or two..

I'm sure your tomato's will be just fine. This has happened to me, more than once. Once they go into the ground, those few leaves won't be noticable anymore. Always try to keep new tomato starters out of direct sun. I usually put a screen in front to filter the direct rays of the sun. Good luck, hope you end up with lots of red tomatos.

Thanks for replying. I just checked my tomatoes and they don't look any worse. My plants are almost 2 feet tall now......not as many leaves as they should but enough...(i think

Tomatoes are very resilant plants.
*Weeds could be another word for it almost*

You could even take the plant, and repot it in a bigger pot/container, and bury it right up to the leaves that are left and that whole stem will
produce roots, and it'll grow taller...

I once broke the whole top off a tomato plant while planting...
I left the root planted, and that resprouted leaves and branches along the stem..
And I stuck the part with just the top in another container, gave it some Schultz Plus 10~60~10 fertilizer for shock and helping it root...

I ended up getting two plants!!!!
