I could use some help please! My aloe vera plant got knocked out of its planter. Unfortunately I did not see it right away and the root is very dry. I have placed it in water to try and save it, but I do not know if I should cut off the root and leave it in water to try and regrow roots, or if I should just replant it, etc. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated!

Oh your poor plant. If the roots are all exposed, try soaking it in water for a few hours and then repot. If not, repot as soon as possible and water well.
