Bet u didn't know it, but sometime during the summer, there is an orgy taking place in your garden... :-)
When a female japanese beetle feeds on vegetation she release some sort of odor that attracts the males and they come to feed with her...

OMG Bob.....you can keep that orgy in your yard! I don't want the Japanses Beetle in mine.....hehehehe....they will find their party is over when they are found floating in soapy water...or in a mixture of borax and sugar.....very toxic to these critters (and ants too).
