Well Nikkal, I told you I would let you know what happened with the hairy growth on the Pink Splash after I cut it back. It has grown into a forest! It's like a fuzzy wonderland now and it's spreading to the leaves, but what the heck, these things are cheap anyway. So I'll let it go and who knows? Maybe I'll be able to market fuzzy forests and make a million!! )

Sounds likle mealybug or soil mold. If it started on the plant tissue, then it is mealybug. If it started on the soil, then it is mold. Mealybug has a cottonlike texture. Soil mold is more thread-like.
