This plant was given to me and I have had no luck finding out what it is! Any help would be appreciated!

That's a very spinally jade plant...
They are VERY easy to take care of!!!

Looks like where ever it was,
wasn't very good lighting....

I'm pretty sure some other gardeners will
be along to tell you more about the Jade plant.
and tell you how to take care of it!!!

Well I really don't think it's a Jade! It flowers on runners and drops plantlets! I have about 5 Jades and 75 house plants! Northern Ontario

What do you mean it "it drops plantlets"???
The leaves fall off and they grow in the dirt???

Still looks and sounds like a Jade. Jades do flower under the right lighting conditions.

I'm not sure what you mean by drops plantlets, but you can easily grow jades from cuttings, so if a piece of your jade fell into the dirt it would possibly turn into another plant.

However the leaves of your plant look a lot thinner than those of any Jade I've seen...

Are the flowers white?
Does it look anything like this:

Actually this might be a member of the jade family but I don't think that this is Crassula argentea, I have a few of these will take pics later. I also have a trumpet jade!(Crassula portulacea)


He's just a little guy yet but one of my favorites!

As for the above plant it flowers on long runner type things 8 to 10" long and the flowers are pink once the flowers have finished it starts to grow tiny little leaf groupings 2 or 4 like you see on the mature plant, but then once they get to the size of about an inch this new plant( stem and couple of leaves falls) and starts it's own plant. These long runner type thing are great fun as they always go to the light source, if you turn the plant around do the flowers are away form the light they turn themselves around in less then an hour, it reminds me of the hand of a clock. The way that the flowers grow remind me of a strepto-carpella.

and more that I can't remember the names of off hand! I get the plant book out and post back with more!

The one you called a red plant I believe is a croton....at least that is what I have and I.D. as! The pix I found has a lot of yellow in it but they are red as well.

I actually know a man who has a jade plant like the one boxmonkey posted, only this guy's is even bigger! It hasn't flowered yet, but I have my fingers crossed Lynne

100% on the last Id! This one? I'v seen this pic before and my plant is really similar and this might just be it but, my leaves are actually corkscrewed and they have this barb thing on the top of the leaves.. This also might be something that they grow out of your link is to a mature plant and mine isn't to old?

I agree that your mystery plant appears to be in the Crassula family. Below is a site that has photos of all the different Crassulas. Perhaps you can find yours there.
