I have received a supply of Tulip Bulbs that were dug up with the leaves & everything intact. What I am trying to find out is what I need to do with these in order to try to have beautiful Tulips in the Spring? Do I cut the leaves off & plant? I am just not sure what to do & really could use some advice.

Thanks.

Desiree-- i don't think it would hurt to plant them now.. they just won't flower until next year. From what i have read, the best time to plant tulip bulbs is in early fall (northern reagions) and early winter (in the south). If u wait to plant them at those times, u must keep the bulbs in a dry place where tempertures stay between 60 an 70 degrees. Either spread the bulbs on trays or store them in mesh bags with holes punched in them for good air circulation. gardendreamer03@aol.com
