Hi, Rene, wavey We have a corn plant that's about 6' tall in a pot outside. It's a beauty and doing really well after being pot-bound for years and then finally transplanted. I NEVER knew they bloomed! WOW!
Can hardly wait to see what the flowers look like. thumbup

Hi Renee,

I am the other half of the "we" Jillie was referring to in her post to you regarding your Corn Plant. Seems that they do bloom white flowers that are very fragrant, they come in clusters and are followed by red-orange berries.
Does yours have leaves with a yellow stripe?

Here is a link to some info about them:

Merry Christmas!

No, mine has solid green stripes. the buds are in clusters so I'll take pictures every other day or so, so we can see the progress. Thanks for the link! wink

hanks for the info Will, the buds are forming droplets, I won't touch them if they are sticky. I know how I hate it when tree sap gets on your hands. I did take some pictures this weekend, but of course my camera decided to "go on the fritz" so I had to trade it in. I kept the memory card, so when I program the new one, I'll get those pictures in. Thanks again, for all the info! wink Have a great holiday everyone!
