I am not sure, but I think it is right after they have bloomed???? Is this right?? I have 6 of them...they are beautiful.....Anyway, what is the proper method???? Do you just cut off the blooms, or can I cut them down and make them smaller, they are pretty big......I've never had hydrangeas before so I don't know too much about the procedure.....Thanks!!!!

you cut back after blooming.they form buds now for next year
