If you really love chocolate chip cookies this is the one.

The best chocolate recipe that I have ever found and I have tried dozens.

2 1/2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate

1/2 cup butter

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/4 cups white sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2/3 cup sour cream

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Dissolve the chocolate and butter together
Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; set aside.

In another bowl, beat sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Add the chocolate and butter mix until well blended. Stir in the dry mixed stuff add sour cream, and then mix in chocolate chips. Drop on cookie sheet in round balls.

Cook for about 8 to 10 minutes at 375F - 190C - do not over cook - let cool on pan for 10 minutes then remove to complete the cool then eat them all up...

I have substituted the dark chocolate for white unsweetened and it is very good as well.
