Ok how long does it take to softened ice cream? I'm going to try to make and ice cream cake which does not sound hard but not sure how long it will take to softened the ice cream for it? Have anyone make one? Would love the help here? Bye

Depends kinda on the brand sorta...
Some melt faster, *I think the natural ones
are softer by nature, and almost never really
harden rock solid like the one's with the names you can't pronounce...*
Also, maybe how warm you keep you room/home???

But I'd say 1/2 hour or so...

And sometimes you can put it in the
the microwave and put it on the defrost mode
for a short period of time... 20 seconds at
first and check it out.....

What recipe you using???

Well howdy Weezie as for the cake was just going to bake two cakes let them cool then put the ice cream in the middle then put them all in the freezer then take them out and frost them then back in the freezer till I'm ready to serve it?What do you think good idea? Bye Rita

Have you seen the new pan out you can
make two seperate parts to the cake and then
have a space in the middle to put things like
ice cream...
I can't remember the name of it,
but when I see it again,
I'll post it!!!
