Do you happen to have one which is a wheel , for sunflower seeds for the squirrels and black birds to crawl on and go round and round?

Thorn said your in that catagory.

Thanks Wrennie and thorn.

Sorry I dont have one like that. I dont actually make them, I own a wild bird shop. I do have a feeder that holds dried corn cobs, in a x shape with 1 cob at the end of each arm, that spins, to feed the squirrels and any bird that wants a ride.
Have you seen a picture of a wheel one? If you have show me, maybe I can find a source for it.

wrennie... I can't believe it! I just went to your PB..
You have the finch feeder that is my next conquest... That's very cool.

How much for the bird feeder in the window? grinnnn grinnnn

I do worry I'll have to soak it in the bathtub to clean it... but that sounds doable.

Oh yeah, I have the squirrel wheel. It is a hoot and will keep a squirrel or two very busy. The birds not so much - like never.

Dodge, I got a new computer and those pictures are on the old one.

Mine is not up right now or I'd run out and click a picture for you.

I got mine very cheaply at Petsmart. It was on clearance sale for less then half of what it cost at the feed/wild animal store.

It does squeak a bit. I think my neighbor was being bugged by it a bit.

Jane,
That one has the flip to fill feature. You can turn it upside down to fill it so the seed doesnt get stuck in the bottom, you can also open the top and clean from either end. Ever use feeder fresh? That works good too. It's $39.99 (not quite awake I'll double check when I get in to work) and whatever shipping is.

Wrennie,

That is my feeder clp That is a fair price. I have been checking this one out wink

I believe that I can attract as many American Goldfinch to my yard as I have non-competitive perches available.

Hey do you carry this feeder. [Linked Image]
I love it. It is very inexpensive ($18) and has great cleanability. It's just 3 plastic tubes and hard plastic straw perches. I got it at Bass Pro shops and will probably get another. I clean feeders often and the plastic stuff won't last a year, but I really like it. I'd love to have more pieces to play with.

I love the look of the one in your store. I found it online somewhere awhile back.

Jane I dont have that one in. I think its by a company that used to have really flimsy feeders and I didn't get more when they redesigned. I can look.
The one I said was 39.99 is only $34.99 (looked yesterday) and will last waaaaaaay longer than 1 year.

Wrennie,
Pretty exciting stuff!
How many perches?
Posted By: Triss Re: Wrennie...........I must ask a question.. - January 23rd, 2007 at 04:59 PM
Wrennie, I think I want one of those longer ones for the next thing to send to my parents. They just raved and raved about the first one I sent and that one is unique. I know they do not have anything like that.

They are online.Everywhere.

I am sure the are Barb but I will be getting mine through Wrennie. She was so awesome about getting a feeder to my parents for Christmas that all of mine will go through her to them from now on!

**Making myself a mental note to start looking for suitable shipping boxes** 3foot++ boxes aren't that easy to find. Hmm.

Thats why I dont sell online. Well part of it.

Wrennie, I was wondering about the three foot box too! But, really I want to know how many perches?

Crap, I have the perfect box. I ordered a movie theater type long handle dustpan and brush and it came in just the right box. But, I guess sending it could get pricey, huh. There is nothing small about the box I have.

I want to know how many perches? I picked that out so long ago... way before I had enough goldfinch to fill it!

Wrennie, the PO has those long triangle boxes. I had a batch of them sent to me by the PO for FREE. It would be perfect for that!

I will measure one later and let you know. If we cannot find a good box, then I will find another feeder. I have until July which is mom's birthday unless I decide to send one for Mother's and Father's Day.

Butting in....

You can take a large card board box.. Thown away at stores...
And fold it to the size you want.. Your man can do that ..Just lay it over the ends of a table and press........
Use lots of plastic tape to hold the ends??

Hope it helps.

We have done that a lot too Dodge. I get the boxes now from the PO cuz of how much shipping he has to do for his business. Looks more professional for him. And since I had places an order for the boxes, I went ahead and got the long triangle ones. I thought they would be great for mailing plants cuz they are smaller and can be cut to almost any size.
Posted By: dodge Re: Wrennie...........I must ask a question.. - January 25th, 2007 at 06:39 PM
ok..........

What is his business?

I did receive a large ginger in one of those.

nice.

The spiral feeder has 23 feeding holes but with that style perch many more can sit and wait their turn.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Wrennie...........I must ask a question.. - January 29th, 2007 at 02:18 PM
Wow 23! -- That is a lot of feeding holes. shk Maybe I need to rethink this. I'm at $10 a week with 18 holes shk

I bet could we fill it though!
Winter feeding is getting pricey shk

Wrennie, I am going to have to put that one on the back burner. They have their babies last in very late summer so...

Thanks so much for checking it out for me. I am also looking for something for the birds -so, it's great to know you're there.
Posted By: dodge Re: Wrennie...........I must ask a question.. - January 29th, 2007 at 03:26 PM
My neighbor has a wooden feeder like a house
an many holes.

She said everytime she fills that. There goes $4.00
So she quit.

best not to start in the winter they depend on the food..
Summer time is different.
