Hi all you garden happy people! wavey

Jane, in Eldersburg, MD, here. Thornius, a friend from the birdersworld forum, suggested I check out this forum. Your forum looks like so much more fun! The bird forum is a mighty stuffy, shirt and tie kind of place. 100% birds 100% of the time. Truly, is just another place where it all comes down to whose bird is bigger.

I'll probably be hanging out in the Butterfy and Bird section because I am very interested in attracting birds to my yard... but, my real goal is to fast track to Area 51 - The NUT HOUSE.
Might just as well head there with purpose!

Have a great day! It's another spring January day here in Eldersburg. It's 8:45am and 55 degrees with a light spring shower and the trees are starting to bloom -- go figure!

Jane

I've been greeted by a poet and a parrot. How fun is that? The parrot is a problem child with a Willy Award, goodness! Is that something I would want??
The poet is quoting Plutarch, do I smell an English Degree in the house?

Wow, Cindy in March you will have been a member here for 3 years! Are there a lot of old timers like you?

Thanks for the welcome.

Thorny,

Hey Hey , it's me JJTIPTOP. I've GonetotheBirds. I am not screaming my name any more.... yipppeee.

I'm so happy to be here. Did you hear I was greeted at the welcome center by a poet and a parrot! And to think the only character I met in all those months at the bird forum was an old hippie in Nashville. Thanks again for inviting me to join.

Penny,
I just check out your all pictures. It's fun seeing them. I think I your boxes from Princess the best.

What are you guys doing in machine shop? It sounds like great location. Being close to Walmart is always a good thing.

Cindy, We don't need to discuss age, do we grinnnn Luckily, I am old enough to keep forgetting just how old I am!

Oh yeah, and that Willie Award. Unless the word, Wet comes before that Willie, I want to know all about it!

Cher,
Thanks for your warm welcome.
Now, if I can just learn to follow a tread...

I love this site. You have an amazing group and great fellowship. I just don't know if I can do the thread thing right. I'm getting frustrated by not hearing what comes next.

I told my daughter all about Thegardenhelper.com She has worked for a nursery/crop farm for a decade. She loves her garden and is very knowledgable about what grows where. I hope she checks it out.
