Hi there! My name is Jess and I moved from Waterford, CA to El Paso a little over a year ago. I used to have a vegetable and herb garden. I also had almond, peach, and apple trees, while my mom had her flowers and shrubs.
I'm planning on growing an indoor herb garden, since my mom has taken over our small backyard.
A little bit more about myself:
I'm 18 and I go to community college right now. Still thinking on that major..either a vet, photographer, or something or other. heh. I have many pets: a sugar glider, a chinchilla, a cockatiel, hermit crabs, and a couple dogs.
I love sewing also. I have a webstore, in fact, called Bebop's Shop where I sell sugar glider pouches, chinchilla hammocks, and stuff for ferrets/hedgehogs/other pets, and purses...
Enough of my ramblings!
Hope to make some friends!

Welcome to the forum Jess wavey

You will meet lots of interesting people, including some with Sugar Gliders, and find some terrific information. Boys howdy (a southern term) CT to TX - talk about yer culture shock. laugh laugh laugh

Yeah, it's way different here in El Paso..
No one says howdy here lol
We're right next to the Mexican border, so there are many Mexicans here.
Sometimes, I feel like I'm not even in America anymore.
I couldn't get a job because I couldn't speak Spanish...

Actually where I lived in California, in the central valley, a lot of people said howdy lol.
I miss it..heh

yup - I saw Waterford and made an erroneous assumption. Sorry. Not the first time, won't be the last time. But Howdy anyway.
