Hello,

My name is Crystal - I am from Chillicothe, Ohio. For the last 4 years I have attempted to landsape my yard - everything dies. This is the first year I had something survive - two clumps of White Pampas Grass (which probably isn't impressive) and the one lone goldfish in my pond (which is impressive to me smile - but probably not anyone else). I am hoping this is the year it all works. I've screwed up enough I should have it down what not to do.

Anyhow - just wanted to say hi!

Hi! - My husband's grandma lived close to Parkersburg. My great grandma is buried there. We went down not to long ago so that my grandma could decorate her grave. I am not sure where that company is but Chillicothe isn't all that big so I am sure it's close smile

We just moved here from NC. I grew up in Moundsville WV, not too far from here. What did you plant that died and what are you planning on this year. People have told me deer will be my biggest problem. I just ordered some deterrent online and I hope it works. I am going to plant everything!!!

I've always heard that you can take white plastic grocery bags and tie them in different places - it mimics the deer's tail that signals to the other deer that danger is near - they will avoid the area. I don't know if it works but it is a nice concept smile

I have had a lot die on me. I did manage to grow some truely amazing pumkins. Truth be known - I just forgot to clean them up from Halloween. Altogether I got 3 large pumkins and 38 ghords.

Now ask me how many of my periennals came back out of about 3 dozen - only two. My white pampas grass and a piece of something my grandma gave me. It is still going strong.

Oh well...

I will have to try that! Wonder what happened to all your plants! I hope we have some luck this season. Keep me posted on how its going...
