Wowwwwwwwwwwwww!!
Those look great...
Nice and healthy!!!
Were they all from seeds or any cuttings from last years???
Looks like a bunch of them, how many do you have?
Weezie13,
They were all started from seed. This is the second year doing them. I love the smell of the leaves, not hard at all to grow. I have 50 plants this year. Last year I grew 94, that was too many although my DW planted them all.
Well Ironside, you certainly do have a green thumb with geraniums....*(pelargoniums actually)*
But beautiful and healthy...
When you plant these from seed,
are they a package that says, "assorted"
and it's always a suprise to you what color they are??
Or do you buy certain colored one's and you have each color by it...???
You pick the color of your plants that you want to grow. I buy them from seed companies. My
DW likes deep red, so I have bought the same variety the last two years. I was nervous the first time growing them. Been doing a lot of research on them and still learning. There are 50 plants growing in my basement right now. I had 94 last year.
Wow those are really nice looking Geraniums!!!!!
great job, they look really healthy!!!
penny
WOWZER!!! I AM IMPRESSED!!!
They look so wonderfully healthy!
How long did it take to get to that size?
How long do you keep the lights on - all the time?
AWESOME! Ya, I want to know too, how long it took to get them to this point! You must be doing something right!
Stick around... we might be able to learn something from you!
wow those look really really healthy!! congrats and keep up the good work!
The geraniums that you see are 6 weeks old. They get 16 hours of light a day. Always water from the bottom and air circulation is very important. The key to any plants grown from seed, is sterile seed starting mix, sterile containers, and the right amount of light. Not every flower requires the same amount of light. Always mist your seedlings with warm water. I will post more pictures as they mature. They will be ready for planting and budding by Memorial Day.
They are simply beautiful..
Please keep sending us updated photo's...
We will love following their progress for sure..
