Is home from the hospital and i talked to him on the phone today. he is weak, but fiesty as ever. he does still need lots of prayers.

I got a call as well. He sounded so good but also towards the end you could tell he was tired.

First thing he says to me is "what's for supper" Told him spaghetti and he went "BLAH".

Jimmy called me while posting in gift exchange I agree with Triss he sounded worn out by conversation's end I told him he'd better not go back to work anytime soon!! He says he plans on it Sunday NOOO I said get well!!! get your strength back!!!

But he said I can do the same there as I can here Just SIT! I only Live a few minutes away think I may do a check in on him Sunday!

Oh I hope he rests up before heading off to work.

I missed my call from Jimmy...I was in the bed and Ruf was at the store...but did get a really nice update e~mail from his daughter. He is still really weak and they were TRYING to keep him off the phone as not to exzert himself (don't think they accomplished that) I was THRILLED to hear that he is home now and resting...daily thoughts & prayers for my boyfriend buddy! We love you Jimmy....

What happened to JV?

sheri, he had heart trouble & a very bad stomach flu and ended up in the hospital. much against his will. the good news is that he is home, and slowly gaining strength. we are sooooo happy to have him home. i talked to him twice today. he's weak, but recovering.

Jimmy telephoned me tonight. He had a good, but busy day... watering his plants and helping out a friend. The fella has an indomitable spirit!

It was lovely to hear his voice again and to hear him sounding like his old self after all he has been through.
