Let us all remember,
The day, the time, the place,
When terror filled our hearts
As evil showed its face.

And let us not forget,
The pain, the grief, the cost,
As sorrow bowed us down
For all whose lives were lost.

As we solemnly recall
That dark and dreadful day,
We honor those who died --
A precious price to pay.

Let us mourn together,
A nation joined by pain,
But united in our hope
That someday peace will reign.
