A Recipe For Flubber - November 14th, 2005 at 09:48 AM
In one bowl:
2 cups Elmer's Glue-All
1 1/2 cups water
A NOTE ABOUT ADDING COLOR!
If you want to use food coloring, you must add it to the water BEFORE you reach the 1 1/2 cup limit of water. A half-bottle of food coloring will produce a medium shade
In second bowl:
Mix 1 cup HOT water
3 teaspoons Borax
Stir until Borax dissolves
Pour Borax solution into the glue mixture. Stir. When it clumps on your spoon, it is ready to be kneaded. It will initially be "wet" as you knead it, then will become "dry" Flubber.
