Hummingbirds

Colorful jewels
That visit my bower,
Gather sweet nectar
Hour by hour.
Oh, precious gems;
A feast for the eye,
Hovering, diving,
And then flashing by.
Swift, dancing darts,
Like rainbows in hue,
Gladden my heart
With beauty so true.
