EXPLOSION IN NORTH CAROLINA...

It's in Morganton, NC..

It's at the RAGAN ROBINSON
It's a chemical plant...

It's in the Northeast side of the state...

They've closed the grocery stores and asking
everyone to stay inside..
Until they can figure out what chemicals' are involved in the explosion...

Well..if you all heard over the week~end that a lady in De Queen Arkansas suffocated her 3 children (a set of twins & sibling) that is where we just moved from. She had actually just moved there from New York...her husband was still in New York and she called him and told him what she had done and he called the police.

If you caught the clip of it...the Police Chief & Sherrif there are personal friends of mine and wonderful people. Also, one clip they scanned around Downtown De Queen...you could see the BIG...Vanessa's Cake Place sign on the bakery I owned. Although the new owner's re~named it the Corner Cake Place, the original sign is still there. So, if you saw it...that is my old stomping grounds. Or maybe I should say "old baking grounds"...

I did hear about the story, and they posted a
picture of her, *with her eyes' closed*
but didn't catch any other one..

That is always so sad......
and not to have anyone to turn to, to help
them out of such a desperate situation...

In our local paper a factory worker has been arrested after an unsavoury extra 'ingredient' was added to the labels of packets of sliced Ham.

Dog S**t
The matter was brought to the company's attention quickly and they were able to recall most of the meat.

Thanks Weezie for starting this thread. It is a good place for us to keep on top of all that is going on with our other members in their areas.

It is a good idea. Every time I hear something around the country (or world) I wonder how it is affecting my garden buddies. Thank you, weezie.

Hi, all the miners(70) were rescued. They had a fire and the workers went into their "safe" rooms and were fine until the fire was put out. I guess they have air, food and water supply.. (thank God) thumbup
