Have you started your shopping? Do you have alot to do? Do you do black friday? I used to work every black friday retail and swore to never shop on that day. Now I feel like I'm missing everything.
I know there are some that don't celebrate christmas. You probly get frustrated when you go out shopping, everything's christmas. Can't get away from it.
Oh man. I just saw the other posts about black friday and shopping. I didn't scroll down far enough. Also saw about decorating. Some of you guys are really on the ball. I couldn't get done that early. I wouldn't know what to do with the rest of the days.
I have gotten a few things, Loz put me in the holiday spirit. No decorations yet though and I still am working on my holiday cards.
I just a Christmas freak....
I think about it almost all year long....
I have started my lists of what to get my family. That's a major step for me!!! I don't shop on Black Friday, I don't have patience to deal with people. I try to shop online and go during my lunch hour, a little bit at a time works for me.
i went overbord this year! couldnt help it, we had such a bad year, so......
Not even half way done
My tree is still in the box.. :p
Did I mention I'm done?
I know, shoot me people....
Good job,loz

SHOOT!
ill finish my shopin up saterday after work!

I will begin, and

someone shoot me NOW!!!
Tonya....I will be doing the same thing..on the weekend with all the loonies...like me,who waited this long;-)
I think I'd have a heart attack if I waited until December to start shopping...I'm not kidding....the stress would kill me for sure.
Have fun shopping you two!
the stress would kill me for sure.
So far so good...If I stop posting ,you know why
I'm right there with ya!!!
Have fun shopping you two!
Yeah, OK....I make a list and stick to it....Did I mention I hate shopping??
Did I mention I make a list and forget it at home...
oh and I love to shop, as much as I love cleaning the dog poo in the yard
Tonya,I guess it would not be so bad if there was money in the wallet verses cobwebs;-)
Mine too- Doug gets paid Friday, so off I go Friday night after getting the kids to bed..... :p Yeah, just the way I wanna spend my Friday night and Saturday....
I guess I am the only one who does not mind hitting the stores on Christmas Eve. I always save at least the stocking stuffers for then and always enjoy myself out and about at the last minute.
Triss, wish you could do mine;-)
Me too Angie. I do not mind the shopping late at all. I plan on taking Patrick out tonight, just over to the Dollar Store so he can shop for his siblings. I will take Jonny on Saturday. I love letting them do their own shopping!
Triss,Now that would be fun, watching little ones shop and pick out gifts:-) that I would love!
It is amazing how careful they are about choosing something just right for the other kids. I just love it. Lys and Zack already shopped at school where they had a special Christmas shop all set up so I do not get to take them out this year. Mikey and Charlie are too young so the gifts that Patrick picks out will be from him and Charlie and those Jonny gets will be from him and Mikey.

HERE HERE!!!
My sediments exactly...
And the stocking stuffers were alllllllll bought at the grocery store.. that's the extent of it..
Toothbrush's, band~aids, foaming soap, some assorted candys' and kids' dental floss on stix!
That sounds like my stocking stuffers as well Weezie. They always get a toothbrush and at least a candy candy. Good combo, huh. This year will be crayons and colored pencils and coloring books too.
I even got mine their own hot cocoa mugs and
I'll wrap boxes of hot cocoa w/marshmellows'.....
They love HC and I think they'll get a kick outta their own mugs...
Mugs, huh- I may have to get Summer one.... I'm getting great ideas here....keep 'em coming!
`
I buy lot's of stuff at the grocery store...
and when we're in the grocery store, I tell the kids, NO, I think maybe Santa or the Easter Bunny will bring it..
and lo and behold, it shows up in the stockings or baskets..
That way, if they're bugging me for stuff in the store, I just say NO and they really think I won't get it for them, and when they get it in the stocking, they never think it's me fillin' the stockings' cause MOM ALWAYS SAYS NOOOOOOOOO!
*Wink~wink*
I buy the assorted colors or smells of hair shampoo's for kids, neat band~aids, I even bought my littlest one, his own band~aid box for a $1.oo at Wally~World... and I keep it filled with HIS band~aid's... little one's or cartoon one's.. and if he feels he needs one, he gets one..
and is not riflin' thru my cabinets to find some..he knows right where his are...
I even got my oldest kid can's of gravey..
a certain kind that he always wants, and I am always saying I have to wait until it goes on sale, its' so expensive.. I bought a bunch and I know he'll get a "big kick" out of that..
That is so great Weezie, I have to remember all thos tips. I am so excited cuz at the dollar store last night I found a Wiggles toothbrush. Mikey is wild about the Wiggles and he is going to be so jazzed about this one. I actually got 2 so I can replace it later on!
I'm off to get my shopping done...
Wish me luck!
You're wished lot's of luck!!!
Mine's going tomorrow.....
Alllll by himself.. I've had it with waiting...
*I got a few things here and there and some stocking stuffers..but he's getting the rest*
Dan is out now. His dad came by and had to go to the same places I was going to go. So I gave Dan the list. Will see how much damage control I have to do once he gets home.
Everyone officially done now?
Better get 'er done Weezie! Santa makes his rounds tonight!
Oh, yeah..
We've forgotten that a few times..
and once, Santa forgot to eat the cookies
Santa never forgets to eat cookies in our house.
He gobbles them right up.
I think Santa was poooooooped that night,
and was just soooooo ready to get in bed....
er, um, on to the next house...
We're watchin' Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer...
Santa has been known to get pooped once in a while.
I am all done shopping but Dan is out again. Dunno what he wants to get though other than Eggs Benedict fixings for breakfast. He did call to let me know he found a couple of Wiggle's coloring books at the ONE store I did not go to cuz I just knew they would not have them. The kids are way loaded on coloring books now. Should last until Easter when they will get more coloring supplies in their Easter baskets.
