Hello, everyone. My name is Bob Dailey and I just moved to The Woodlands, Texas (just north of Houston) from Santa Fe, NM.
I am originally from south Louisiana, but have lived in various places all over the U.S. and in Europe.
I am a Master Gardener and a garden writer. I am also the Desert Gardening editor for Suite101.com. (http://desertgardens.suite101.com)
I love to garden and am very interested in xeric gardening. I also like to fish (the Gulf of Mexico is only 90 miles from here). I learned to flyfish in the mountain streams and rivers of New Mexico, but I do prefer the ocean.
My wife and I have five daughters and one son. The two youngest, (teenaged daughters) are still living with us (plus the occasional older child...they do come back).
I'm looking forward to participating in this forum.
